CLARKE Irma Victoria 1927 - 2009 Mrs. Irma Victoria Clarke (nee Schaber), passed away on Monday, March 23, 2009 at the age of 81 years. Irma was born in Rockyford, Alberta and lived with her family in the Carbon area for many years. She married Allen Clarke formerly of Erskine seven years ago and has enjoyed living in Erskine and in Stettler since that time. Irma is survived by her loving husband Allen Clarke of Stettler, step-children Henrietta Clarke (Bob Watson) of Mexico, Margaret Clindon of Camrose, Daniel (Dianna) Clarke of Calgary, Charles Clarke of Edmonton, and Harold (Linda) Clarke of Leduc. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, brothers Ralph Schaber and Lyle Schaber as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many very dear friends. A funeral service was held in the Brennen Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, March 31, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Warren Kay officiating. Family and friends then gathered in the Brennen Funeral Home Reception Area for a time of fellowship and later, the family proceeded to the Erskine Cemetery where Irma was laid to rest.
