CORNELSSEN Irma Louise (Cadwell) Cornelssen passed away at home in Paragon Place, Stettler, AB on December 14, 2006 at the age of 84 years. Irma fought a courageous battle with cancer. Irma was born July 1st, 1922 to Ralph and Marian Cadwell of Erskine, AB and lived most of her life around the Erskine and Alix areas. She married Earl Elvin Cornelssen November 25, 1941. Predeceased by her brother Ralph Lee Cadwell; sister Amy Dobson; 2 great grandchildren; and her husband Earl Elvin Cornelssen. Irma is survived by 6 sons and three daughters: Lee and Ethel Cornelssen of Red Deer, AB, Bob and Elaine Cornelssen of Consort, AB, Larry Cornelssen and Freida Cornelssen of Red Deer, AB, Carl and Gerry Cornelssen of Stettler, AB, Walter and Nancy Cornelssen of Leduc, AB, Fred and Patti Cornelssen of Calmar, AB, Betty and Neil Volker of Erskine, AB, Irene and Bob Zimmerman of Drayton Valley, AB, and Marjorie Cornelssen and Bill Butler of Lac La Biche, AB; 25 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by 4 half brothers Allen and Donna Cadwell of Salmon Arm, B.C., Gordon and Donna Cadwell of Wetaskiwin, AB, Gerald and Jo-Ann Cadwell of Cache Creek, B.C., and Donald and Yvonne Cadwell of Spruce Grove, AB, numerous other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly. A Memorial Tea will be held at the Erskine I.O.O.F. Hall on Sunday, December 17th, from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M.
