Isabella HIND

HIND Isabella Mrs. Isabella (Isabel) Hind of Red Deer passed away at her home on Wednesday, March 11th, 2009 at the age of 83 years. Isabella was born on April 15, 1925 at Kinlochleven, Argyllshire, Scotland. She chose a career in nursing and then in 1946 she married Robert L. Hind. In 1955 Isabel and Bob moved to Red Deer, AB with their two children, Edward and Barbara. Isabella worked at the Red Deer Hospital until 1967 when her and Bob moved to Victoria, BC and later to Hinton, AB. In 1980 they returned to Red Deer and Isabel returned to the Red Deer Regional Hospital until she retired in 1990. Isabel was predeceased by her husband Robert in 2004 and is survived by her son Edward (Betty) Hind grandchildren Jacqueline and Melinda and great-grandson Ryley Hind all of Jasper, daughter, Barb (Lyle) Moger, grandchildren Tracey (Murray) Phillips, Chris Moger and great-grandchildren Megan and Colby Phillips all of Red Deer. She was predeceased by her mother Bella and father Edward. At Isabel's request no funeral will be held. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 17th, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Alto-Reste Cemetery with Reverend Don Lewis officiating. In living memory of Isabella Hind, a tree will be planted in the Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium Memorial Tree Park in the Red Deer County, AB.
