Iva passed away peacefully at the Red Deer Regional Hospital at the age of 87. She was born in Innisfail, Alberta on June 21, 1927. Iva is predeceased by her parents Charlie and Marion Griffiths, brother Bill Griffiths, husband Loyd Berke, son Brian Berke and grandson Dean Anderson. Iva is lovingly remembered by her daughters Yvonne Anderson of Sylvan Lake, Carol Berke of Red Deer and daughter in-law Bonnie Berke of Eckville. Grandchildren Erin (Doug) VanVeller, Kelly (Curtis) Komarniski, and Shane (Laura) Berke. Great grandchildren Trace, Loden and Brycen Komarniski, Cera and Chloe Berke, and Geoffrey and Racheal VanVeller. Iva was an active member of the community, volunteering her time with many organizations including the Wetaskinwin and Clive curling clubs and Legions. Iva was hugely committed to her family and was a doting grandmother and great grandmother. Iva was strength and will always be remembered for her kind loving ways to all her friends and family. A celebration of Iva's Life will be held at the Chapel of the Sylvan Lake Funeral Home on Saturday November 8, 2014 at 2:00 P.M.
