Ivy McDonald of Red Deer went to sleep with a smile on her face and did not wake up on Tuesday October 20, 2020 at the age of 63.
Ivy is lovingly remembered by her Mother Rosemary, Siblings Doug (Debbi), Albert, Cindy (Jeff). Her 9 nieces, nephews and 8 great nieces and nephews. Ivy's family also included a large circle of very close friends. Ivy is predeceased by the biggest love of her life her basset hound Radar, her father Henry, Stepfather Bill (William) and her Brother Vincent, close friend Carol.
Ivy always had a very full calendar always doing everything she could to support family and friends alike.
Ivy was a very competitive person and would play almost any sport or game. She particularly excelled at Broomball, Baseball, 10 pin Bowling, and Golf. Ivy loved to travel the world looking for a nice sandy beach or a golf course.
Ivy's Going Away Party will be held on Saturday November 7, 2020 from 1-3pm outdoors at Discovery Wildlife Park. Food and Drink will be available for purchase with money going to the Monkeys. Dress for the weather.
Ivy had a passion for primates and requested that any donations in her name be made to Discovery Wildlife Park for the monkeys.
