Jack ROWTHORN

ROWTHORN Jack Rowthorn was promoted to Glory on September 8, 2008. John (Jack) Neil Rowthorn quietly slipped away at the Rosefield Centre Innisfail, Alberta. Jack was born in Fort William, Ontario December 10, 1923. He served in the Royal Canadian Air Force during WWII. He married Ethel Lindsay in 1945. They were blessed with seven children. They lived in Port Arthur, Ontario, The Pas, Manitoba, Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, finally settling in Innisfail, Alberta in 1974, where he resided until his death. He was predeceased by Ethel, his wife of 50 years, 2 infant children, Billy and Kathleen, his parents, William and Doris and brother, Bill. Jack is survived by his children, Karen (Duncan McNeil), Jon (Ardyth), Rob (Elaine), Pat (Mike Suchlandt), Joanne (Garth Ingham), 16 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends. A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 12, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. at the Innisfail Church of the Nazarene. Cremation Interment at Innisfail Cemetery.
