In Loving Memory ~

Jacobus (Jack) van Loo passed away peacefully to be in his heavenly home with Jesus his Lord on January 23rd, 2024 at the age of 65, with his wife Peggy (married on May 4th, 1995) by his side. Jack was born on July 21, 1958 in the Hague, Netherlands to Maiika and Jacobus Elisha van Loo.

Jack graduated from Lindsay Thurber High School, Red Deer College and then to the University of Calgary for 3 years. After attending Rhema Bible Training Centre in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Jack then served on the mission field in Uganda for the next 10 years.

When in Red Deer, Jack was a Child and Youth Care Worker. Jack had a big heart and he cared deeply about the people he looked after.

Jack was predeceased by his parents Jake and Maiika, and his twin sister Nicollette.

He is survived by his sisters, Wilma and Yvonne, and a brother Art, and their families.

He will be greatly missed at Liberty Christian Assembly (Horn Street and Taylor Drive) where he attended and served as an elder and bible teacher, and will be remembered in a Memorial Service there on Wednesday January 31, 2024 at 2 pm. with Rev. George Bradley officiating. We will all miss this big gentle giant.
