Jacqueline Anne (nee Bell)

It is with great sadness that the family of Jacqueline Anne Abbott announces her passing November 30, 2009 at the Red Deer Regional Hospital. She leaves to mourn her daughters Kim Stol and Lori (Phil) Hallet; her son Grant (Shelley) Abbott; her brother John Bell; seven grandchildren: Sara Zapata, Scott Stol, Stephanie (Brandon) Stutheit, Amanda (Steve (Moffat) Hallet, Maryanne (Steve) Rentz, Caitlin and Nicole Abbott; four great grandchildren: Aiden Moffat, Elih and Amani Zapata, Robin Ryan and numerous nieces and nephews all of who will miss her greatly. Jacquie was born August 25, 1934 in Lethbridge, Alberta and throughout her life she lived in Brooks, Hanna, Eckville, Red Deer and Lacombe. Jacquie had many friends in these communities. Jacquie was predeceased by her mother, Mary Anne (Molly) Bell; her father James Frame Bell; her sister, Heather Barnes; her brothers, James, Andrew, Charles and Alexander Bell; and special friend Henry Howe. Jacquie will be privately interred at the Red Deer Cemetery and a public celebration of her life will be held Tuesday December 8, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Lacombe Parkside Alliance Church, 5846-50 Avenue, Lacombe, Ab. with Pastor Lloyd McArthur officiating. We wish to thank the nurses and volunteers on Unit 32 Palliative Care for their kindness to Mom and her family throughout this difficult time and a special thank you to Dr. Hulyk for being a kind, loving doctor and friend to Mom these many years.
