Jamelle Dee

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jamelle Stevens of Beaumont, Alberta. Jamelle was born on Aug. 18, 1971 in Calgary. She moved to Red Deer with her family in 1979, where she lived through her high school years and completed a Secretarial Sciences diploma at RDC. She then moved to Calgary where she worked as a stenographer for the Gov't of Canada. She then moved to Ponoka where she worked for first the RCMP and then the Federal Institution in Hobbema. Jamelle then got a job for Environment Canada in Edmonton and moved to Beaumont. She returned to school and received her Bachelor of Arts degree then began working for Human Resources with the Gov't of Canada. Jamelle is predeceased by her father Dale, and is survived by her three sons, Keenan, Bryant and Colin and mother Sharon Stevens. She is also survived by her brothers Scott(Shantelle Boatright), Dean (Nicole) and Carter Kokotylo, her sister Amanda, as well as her nieces Taylor, Sara, and Sequoia and nephews Eric and Dakota. A Viewing will be held from 7:00 pm-9:00 pm on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at Serenity Funeral Service, 5311 - 91 Street, Edmonton. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 with viewing one hour prior at Eaglemont Church, 5002 - 62 Street, Beaumont. Interment to follow in Clearwater Cemetery, Beaumont. Memorial donations may be made to the Cross Cancer Institute, Angels Anonymous or the Beaumont Amateur Hockey Association.
