Jim along with his wife Annie and daughter Margaret came to Canada in 1947 from Scotland to the Watson farm in the Evarts district, where he worked for more than 28 years. In 1975 he moved to Rocky Mountain House and worked until he retired. Upon retirement he and his wife Annie volunteered at the Next to New with great enjoyment. In 2004 they moved into the Clearwater Center where they made and enjoyed many friends. There was always something to brighten the day. Jim is survived by his wife Annie of nearly 66 years. Jim is also survived by his Daughter Margaret Bennett (Roy- Predeceased) of Saskatoon; Son Fred (Mitzi) Anderson of Red Deer; Grandchildren Scott (Sherri), Michael (Michelle), Jerilyn (Dave), Tyson (Brianne) and Brady; Great Grandchildren Shawn, Tyler, Avery, Shaylyn and Cooper, and also two special people who touched Dad's heart Deanna and Delores Periche. At Jim's Request there will be no service.

Cremation Entrusted by the Rocky Mountain Crematorium. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made in James name to the Rocky or Red Deer Hospitals, Good Samaritan Society Clearwater Center or the charity of the donor's choice. The Anderson Family would like to thank the Doctors, Nurses and Staff at Rocky and Red Deer Hospitals and Ambulance Services, along with all the special staff at the Clearwater Center and Home Care. Also a special thank you to Grace Qually for driving the Handi van whose dedication to this service was much appreciated by Jim.
