CAMPBELL James Thomas 1937 – 2007 Mr. James Campbell of Red Deer passed away on Saturday, May 26 at the age of 70 years due to complications from heart surgery. He was attended at his bedside at the Calgary Foothills Hospital by his wife and children. Jim is loved and will be greatly missed by his family. He is survived by his loving wife Bertha and their children Kenneth Robert of Red Deer; Kevin James (Ying Yi), grandson, his little fishing buddy, Zi Heng Danil of Red Deer; Dennis Wayne and grandsons Thomas and Luke of Calgary; Linda "Ralphie" Louise of Edmonton; and Darren Dean of Red Deer. Jim was predeceased by his brother Bob in 2004 and survived by his brother Gordon of Airdrie, sister Shirley Johnson of Newmarket, Ontario; brother Charlie (Mary Anne) of Richmond Hill, Ontario; brother Stewart (Karen) of Camrose; and sister Mary Jean (Wayne) Schilling of Calgary. As well as many nieces, nephews, family and friends. As per his wishes, Jim will be cremated and there will be a private family ceremony at Shunda Creek, Nordegg, a place where Jim loved and his family has special memories. Memorial donations may be made in Jim's honour directly to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
