HARTLEY James Hartley, Bonvivant, Raconteur, and Gas Plant- Pipeline Inspector, passed away suddenly on Friday, March 28, 2008 at the Lacombe Extended Care Facility. He was born in Bradford England, raised in Ashmont, Alberta and lived most of his life in Alix, Alberta. Jim worked extensively throughout Western Canada and overseas in the Natural Gas Processing and Pipeline Industry for 45+ years until his retirement in 1996. He is survived by his wife Dorothy; daughter Brenda; sons J.D., Brant, Justin and his family, wife Nancy, and children Kayla and William. There will be no service. Inurnment will take place in the Family Plot in Ashmont, Alberta. The family would like to extend its gratitude and thanks to the staff of the Lacombe Extended Care Facility and Lacombe Hospital for the excellent care of Jim.
