ROSS James Beaton was born on the family farm near Trochu on September 14, 1930. He passed away peacefully in his Trochu home on May 10, 2008. James was the youngest son of William and Agnes Jane Ross. He was united in marriage to Irene Motz on September 30, 1955. He is survived by three children; Elaine and Ian McCue (Amanda, Amy), Janet Schmidt and Jon Belanger (Dwight, Natalie and Adam), Allan and Lorraine Ross (Steven, Levi and Kelsey). He was predeceased by his wife, Irene, on April 28, 1993 and by his brother, Allan, and two sisters, Agnes Niemi and Christine Hanna. A memorial service will be held at the Trochu Baptist Fellowship Center on May 16, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. Donations in memory of J.B. can be made to a charity of your choice.
