STANDING James "Jim" Standing of Red Deer passed away surrounded by his family at the Red Deer Regional Hospital on May 7, 2006 at the age of 78 years. Jim will be remembered as a quiet and gentle soul by his wife of 51 years, Doris; two sons, Guy (Joan) and Brent (Brenda); 6 daughters, Janet (Vance) Winters, Pam (Craig) LeBorgne, Penny (Bill) Sekura, Shannon Standing, Desiree (Joe) Dotto and Jennifer (Ron) Gardner; 15 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren; one sister Betty Lawrence as well as many nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends.
