KOOY Jan went peacefully to be with his Lord on February 19, 2007. He was born July 13, 1918 in The Netherlands. Jan is lovingly remembered by his children John (Laurie) Kooy, Johanna (Eldo) Hildebrand, son-in-law Ted Loewen, Diew (Doug) Morrison and eleven grandchildren. Jan was predeceased by his wife Wubgiena in 1997, his son Henry in 1995, and his daughter Jessie Loewen in 2005. A celebration of his life is to be held at Deer Park Alliance Church on Friday, February 23, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. Donations may be made to The Gideons.
