Janet Van der Meulen passed away peacefully on Sunday October 13, 2019 at Royal Oak Manor in Lacombe.
Janet was born in Britsum, Netherlands and immigrated to Canada in 1951. She is predeceased by her husband George in 2010.
Janet was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and will be deeply missed by Alice (Ted) Nelson, Hank
(Edie) Van der Meulen, Peter (Tayah) Van der Meulen, Jim Van der Meulen, Jane (Bill Johnstone) Van der Meulen, Angela (Tony) Tone. She is also survived by her 16 beloved grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
The family thanks the staff of Royal Oak Manor in Lacombe for the care and kindness they have shown to mom over the last 5 years.
Funeral services to be held at First Christian Reformed Church, 16 McVicar Street on Friday, October 18, 2019 at 1 pm.
