Janice SPURR

SPURR Janice Meta Spurr passed away after a short illness, on July 17th, 2009 at 1:35 pm., surrounded by family. Janice loved being with family; enjoyed gardening and trying new things with plants. She was an entrepreneur in Cranbrook, B.C.,  before her and her husband moved to Red Deer. She will always be remembered for her laughter, good spirits and generosity of time and effort. She is survived by her husband Ken; older brothers Carl (Cathie) of Thunder Bay, Ontario; Gerry (Winnie) of Kelowna; sister Pat (Dave) of St. Catharines, Ontario; brothers Ted of South Surrey  and Bob (Joan) of Surrey and brother-in-law Jim Spurr of Surrey. She will be forever loved and missed by many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews, and many friends.  Thanks to the doctors and many nurses and helpers of Room 10 in I.C.U. at Red Deer Regional Hospital, who made her as comfortable as possible, and were so helpful.
