In Loving Memory ~
It is with sadness that the family of Bill Reeser announce his passing on October 21, 2021- 12 days after his 90th birthday.
Bill is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Marilyn Reeser, his children; Charlotte Reeser (Terry), Judy (Al) Kohut, Jay Reeser (Kelli), stepchildren; Kevin (Tracy) Annable, Dawna Lindsay, Jason (Daisy) Lindsay, Terra (Rony) Paredes, 9 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and sister Vera Wells. Bill was also well loved by his large extended family and friends he met in his many adventures down in the US and Mexico.
Bill was pre-deceased by his first wife Olga Reeser, grandsons; Charlie and Dale, sisters; Dorothy and Merle, brothers; Clifford and Wayne and beloved in-laws Ed and Kit Lightbown.
Bill was born in Innisfail and attended the Heckla School. When he was 18 years old, he started working for Trans Alta as a linesman. This work took him all over Alberta. He was very well liked by his co-workers and worked his way up to Area Supervisor over the years.
Marilyn and Bill loved going on new adventures over their years together and spent many winters in Mexico, right up until the pandemic. Bill was very active and loved being outdoors, camping, fishing, or doing yard work. Bill loved and cared for all his family and will always be missed.
Due to Covid restrictions, a private family service will be held later in the week. For those who wish to make a memorial contribution in Bill's name in lieu of flowers, the family has chosen Bethany Care in Sylvan Lake.
