Jean Buchanan Jardine was born to William Jardine III and Pretoria "Cis" (McCulloch) on March 6, 1941, in Lacombe, Alberta, Canada.
Jean took her primary schooling in Lacombe; she loved horses and life on the farm.
She attended the University of Alberta, Nursing program (in Ponoka, Alberta, Canada) to become a registered nurse. She later taught in the nursing program (U of A, Ponoka) from August 1962 to November 1963.
In 1964, she made a bold move whereby she moved to Tucson, Arizona to nurse, and she later went to Chicago, Illinois where she worked in the emergency room at the University of Illinois Medical Centre, from 1964 - 1994. She cherished her life-long nursing friends.
Jean met her husband Bill O'Neill in 1970 while working at the University; Bill passed on in 1981. Jean later met her special friend, Donald Foster.
Jean retired to the Yaak, (near Troy, MT) in 1994 and relocated to beautiful Glen Lake in 2000.
Jean was full of life - she waterskied and downhill skied into her early seventies, purchased a new Sea-Doo last year in her 80th year, and enjoyed her many friends and neighbors.
Jean was pre-deceased by her parents William & Pretoria Jardine, her husband Bill O'Neill, her sisters, and their husbands Patricia (Donald) Sharp, Enid (Melvin) Otto, Willa (Gordon) Mitchell, Margaret (Leo Hancock) Jardine, her sister-in -law Doris Jardine, and her great-nephew Gordon Mitchell.
Her special friend Don Foster, her brother Dave Jardine, and her twelve nieces and nephews

Jean's good friends in Eureka, and at Glen Lake will remember her for her willing hand and kind deeds, with a few good laughs along the way.
