SLEMKO, Jerrold Jerrold “Jerry” Slemko of Red Deer passed away tragically and suddenly near Hinton on January 4, 2006 at the age of 58 years. Jerry will be remembered as a man who went out of his way to be helpful and of assistance whenever and wherever there was a need, not only to family and friends, but also to strangers. Jerry left a great impression on all who knew him. He will be fondly remembered by his dear mother, Ann Slemko of Red Deer; two brothers, Bevan (Jan Raymond) Slemko of Red Deer and Marcy (Jan Toma) Slemko of Edmonton; one sister Carmen Spackman of Edmonton, two nieces, Stacy and Kara Spackman, as well as numerous extended family and friends. Jerry was predeceased by his father, John Slemko in 2004.
