BOURNE Jesse Bartlett Jesse Bartlett Bourne of Innisfail passed away on November 22, 2008 at the age of 93 years. Jesse was born and lived his entire life in the Innisfail area. Jesse loved watching the changes in the land from his childhood up until his final days. His family homesteaded in the Ridgewood district in 1898. He loved farming and in his earlier days spent time custom combining. He continued to farm even after his retirement. Jesse was 87 when he hauled his last load of grain. Jesse is survived by his wife, Elizabeth (Bessie) of Innisfail, son, Gary (Judy) of Penhold, daughters, Barbara Williams of Calgary, and Jennell (Mike) Saindon of Squamish, B.C. Jessie is also survived by his grandsons; Darrell Bourne, Garth Williams, Derek Saindon, Laren Saindon, along with his granddaughters; Sheri Layden, Danielle Brooks and Heather Williams and also 7 great grandchildren. Jesse was predeceased by his wife, Jean Odelle (Proctor) in 1957, granddaughter, Diana in 1977 and son-in-law, Dave Williams in 1995. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 27, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. from the Red Deer Capri Hotel and Convention Centre.
