LEACH Jessie Catherine (Kay) Kay Leach passed away peacefully on December 31, 2005 at the Continuing Care Center, Lacombe, Alberta. Kay was born November 30, 1915 at Milden, Saskatchewan, the second child born to Simon and Pearl Ross. She leaves to mourn her passing, sons Ron and his wife Donna Leach of Innisfail, AB and Randy and his wife Angie Leach of Cranbrook, B.C.; son-in-law Harry Weymark of Drumheller, AB; seven grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; two sisters Eleanor Chapin and Norma (George) Kary, several nieces and nephews and special friend Tom Damant. Kay was predeceased by her husband Jerry Leach in 1971 and daughter Jaunita Weymark in 1997, brothers Aylmer and Lawrence Ross, brother-in-law Don Leach, sisters-in-law Esther Palmer, Eva Ross and Connie Leach. A Memorial Service will be held at the Kozy Korner, 5024 – 53rd St., Lacombe AB on Friday, January 6, 2006 at 3:30 pm. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Box 213, Red Deer, AB T4N 5E8. The family wishes to thank Dr. Megan Taylor, Florence from Home Care, Katy from Continuing Care and all the nurses and staff on Unit 3 for their care and special kindness shown to our mother Kay.
