September 11, 1926 - November 12, 2018
The family of Jim Sinclair is deeply saddened to announce his passing on November 12, 2018 at the age of 92. James, or "Sinc" as he was more well known, was born in Red Deer, to Jack and Myrtle Sinclair. He enjoyed spending his life travelling, camping, hiking, playing ball, riding his bike, and playing with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He even won multiple gold medals in cycling at the World Senior Games.
He was predeceased by his wife of 67 years Nancy Lee Sinclair and sisters Connie Billingsley and Georgia Guy. He is survived by his sister Mildred Murray (Jim), daughter, Sue Woods (Greg), his son Bob Sinclair (Phyllis), grandchildren Jeff Woods, Christy Shields (Mark), Stacey Alexander (John), Kelsey Lavery (Gaelan), and great-grandchildren Lucas, Matthew and Nathan Alexander and Lee Shields as well as many loving friends and extended family.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Innisfail Legion on Monday November 19th at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to KidSport Red Deer.
