BELL, JOHN THOMAS Passed away with his family by his side Monday, November 14, 2005, at the age of 78. Survived by his loving wife June, 3 children; Amanda Chudyk of Vancouver, BC, Mark Bell of Banff, AB, Warren Bell of Calgary, AB, 2 step-children; step-daughter Brenda (Brian) Desrochers of Bashaw, AB, step-son Bran (Caroline) Loxton of Kent, England, brothers & sisters; Edith (Carl) Scriven of Calgary, AB, Fred Bell of Pine Lake, Charles (Wilma) Bell of Manitoba, Vera McDonald of Hamilton, ON, Beatrice (Lorne) Lightbody of Gravelburg, SK, George (Dolores) Bell of Gull Lake, AB, grandchildren; Lacey, Matthew, Nick-cole (Doug), Travis (Denise), Glen, Dylon, Chelsea, great grandchildren; Chantelle, Keanna and numerous nieces and nephews. Sadly predeceased by father, mother and 3 sisters. John served in the Canadian Army for 24 years and served in Korea for 2 years. John worked for the Calgary school board, until his retirement in 1988, then moved to Gull Lake, A.B. John spent his summers there and winters in Yuma, Arizona, until 1997 when he moved to Penticton. He loved camping, fishing, card games and everyone loved his sense of humor. Special thanks to Dr. Laurie and the wonderful staff and volunteers at Moog & Friends Hospice House. A Memorial Service will be held in Alberta at a later date. Memorial tributes may be made to either of these foundations; Moog & Friends Hospice House, Canadian Cancer Society, Kidney Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
