HUNTER John Alexander Hunter June 13, 1945-February 24, 2009 Passed away suddenly on February 24th, 2009 while on vacation in New Zealand with Linda. John’s memory will be cherished forever by his wife and best friend, Linda, children, Stefanie Forward (Bill), John Hunter Jr. (Melanie), mother Audrey, sisters, Montanna Hunter, Jean Crawford (Bob), brother, Bob Hunter (Bev). Three grandchildren, Alina, Adam and Jennifer. Also numerous relatives and friends. John was predeceased by his father, Harry, Viesia Hunter (mother of Stefanie and John Jr.) After successful careers in construction development and financial planning, John was fortunate to enjoy early retirement. John lived and enjoyed life to the fullest. He was an avid long time member of the Red Deer Golf & Country Club. He loved to travel and entertain friends and relatives. John had a great sense of humor, was a true friend to so many and had a heart of gold. In celebration of John’s life, please join us Tuesday, April 14th, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. at the 19th hole at the Red Deer Golf & Country Club, one of John’s favorite places – for his happy hour.
