John "Jack"
Mr. John (Jack) Unsworth of Red Deer, beloved husband of Jean Unsworth, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at the Red Deer Regional Hospital on Monday, June 11, 2012 at the age of 72 years. Jack and Jean enjoyed 52 years of marriage. Jack is survived by his daughters, Michelle (Stacy) Williams and Cheryl Webber (Bob Halldane); son, Robert (Kari) Unsworth; sister, Marilyn Pedersen; brother, Brian (Wendy) Unsworth; brother-in-law, Keith (Donna) Farries; grandchildren, Chandler Goruk (Ryan), Anthony and Steven Webber, Carter Unsworth and Sarah and Jessica Schamehorn; great grandson, Parker Readman; as well as nieces and nephews, Greg (Coral), Brad and Kent (Vivianna) Farries, Karen (Jason) Pearson, Kent Pedersen and Jason (Lara) Unsworth. A Memorial Service will be held at Crossroads Church on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Jack's honour may be made directly to the Canadian Cancer Society, 4730A Ross Street, Red Deer, AB T4N 1X2 or to STARS, 1441 Aviation Park NE, Calgary, AB T2E 8M7.
