MAHONEY, John Daniel "Dan" Dan Mahoney entered into rest on August 16, 2007. He was born in Low Quebec on August 18, 1925 to John and Julia (LaRiviere) Mahoney. Dan is survived by his children Pat & Dave Chiasson, Doreen & Alan Curran and Michael and Kim Mahoney; his seven grand children Sandra (Sean), Grant (Sharole) Jacqueline, Geri-Lyn, Shelby, Kayla, and Shea; 3 great grandchildren Darian, Kyle and Rebecca; 2 brothers Alvin and Francis; and 5 sisters Evelyn, Bertha, Madonna, Louise and Clare. Dan was predeceased by his parents, brothers Wilbur and Gerald; sisters Florence and Anne and his wife Doreen in 1991. For those wishing to pay their respects, they may do so at the Chapel of the Sylvan Lake Funeral Home on Sunday, August 19, 2007 from 2:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Our Lady of Assumption Roman Catholic Church on Tuesday, August 21, 2007 at 2:00 P.M with celebrant Reverend Father Victor Eze. Inurnment will follow at the Sylvan Lake Cemetery. Cremation entrusted to Rocky Mountain Crematorium. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions in Dan's name may be made to S.T.A.R.S.
