It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Jack Neis on April 25, 2018 at the Red Deer Regional Hospital, with his loving Josie by his side.
Jack leaves to mourn his partner and best friend Josie Janz, his sons Garnet (Lori) and Marty, and his three grandchildren, Mackenzie, Jayson and Ross. He also leaves to mourn Josie's daughter Heather and her family and many other family and friends.
Jack was predeceased by his parents Henry and Barbara, his wife of 38 years Linda, and his brothers Bill and Doug. Jack was born on July 2, 1949 at Lacombe, AB. He attended school in Mirror and Alix and later moved to Edmonton where he began his career in sales.
He eventually moved to Lethbridge where he raised his family and happily retired in 2007. Shortly after Linda's passing Jack moved to Red Deer where, after five years, he met Josie in 2013. This renewed his love of travel as they took many trips together to some of their favorite places. Jack had a passionate love of music, sports, antiques and collectibles.
A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Mirror Community Hall with the Interment to follow at the Mirror Cemetery. Please join the family back at the hall for food and fellowship.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alberta Heart and Stroke Foundation.
