TAYLOR, John
1954-2016
It is with much sadness, we the family of John Robert Taylor, announce his passing on November 10, 2016.
He was predeceased by his parents Stan and Barbara Taylor, granddaughter Gabrielle Thiessen, uncles Irvine, Jack and Lloyd and aunts Helen and Jean.
Survived by daughter Shauna (Ward) Thiessen, sister Shirley Taylor, aunts, uncles, numerous cousins, and best friend of 35 years Paul Landry.
John took his schooling in Halkirk and Stettler and went on to Vermillion College. He was an avid horseman, enjoying endurance and competitive trail rides. His love of horses was passed on to his daughter. He also enjoyed camping, family gatherings and hanging out with friends.
A memorial service will be held on November 26, 2016 at the Red Deer funeral home, 6150 - 67 street at 12:00 noon. Internment service to follow at the Halkirk Cemetery.
