SMITH John Jeremy Jan 9, 1939 - May 24, 2009 With much sadness we announce the sudden passing of Jeremy Smith at the Foothills Hospital in Calgary with his wife and children by his side. Jeremy is predeceased by his mother Catherine and father Douglas. He is survived by his loving wife Mary, daughter Christina (Gary), son Daniel (Louise) and sister Jo (Lorne) and by extended family and friends. Cherished grandfather of Valerie, Derek, Mieke, Wil and great grandson Liam. Jeremy spent 32 years in the military and in his retirement was happily involved in the Central Alberta Theatre (CAT) where he spent many hours designing and building sets. He will be deeply missed. A celebration of his life will be held at the Memorial Centre, CAT studios on May 30, from 1 - 4 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Central Alberta Theatre or charity of your choice.
