DE JONGE Mrs. Pearl de Jonge of Red Deer passed away peacefully at the Red Deer Nursing Home, Red Deer on Thursday, June 25, 2009 at the age of 76 years. She was born on December 31, 1932 at Oldekerk, Groningen, The Netherlands.  Pearl is survived by her loving children, Linda (Ralph) Boschman and their children, Travis (Melissa)  and Megan (Ben), Geri Rypstra (Doug) and her children, Shawn and Jordyn, Ardy (Theresa) de Jonge and their children, Andrew, Sheldon and Tyler,  Stan (Louise) de Jonge and their children, Tia and Cole, and Quinten de Jonge (Meloni) and their daughter, Jasmine.  She is also survived by three brothers, Jacob Kits, Clarence (Doreen) Kits and Kor Kits, two sisters, Swancie (Jack) Soley and Teena (John) Van't Land, sisters/brothers-in-law, Helen Kits, Nancy (George) Abma, and Jenny (Marinus) Konynenbelt and numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends.  Pearl was predeceased by her husband, Adrian "Arie" de Jonge, her second husband, Henk Meyer, two brothers, Uk and John Kits, two sisters, Trijntje Kits and Jenny Veuger, one brother-in-law, Ed Veuger, and three sisters-in-law, Helga Kits, Penny Kits and Samantha Kits. A Celebration of Pearl’s life will be held at the First Christian Reformed Church, 16 McVicar Street, Red Deer on Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Gary Bomhof, officiating.
