MCKEOWN Joseph Adam "Joey" The funeral of Joey McKeown was held on Tuesday, July 29, 2008 from Brenan's Bay View Chapel where the service was conducted by Rev. Edward Powell. Pallbearers were: Cecil Cardinal, Ron Wright, Dean Busch, Larry Schulhauser, April Reynolds, Dan Matheson, Matthew London and Cory Beddow. Honourary pallbearers were: Sheldon McKeown, Curtis McKeown, Brett McKeown, Shawn McKeown, Nathan McKeown and Trevor McKeown. Floral tributes received by the family included those from many Friends and Relatives, Members at I.B.E.W. Local 2166, I.B.E.W. Local 502, Plumbers and Pipe-fitters of Black & MacDonald, Brothers and Sisters of Recruit Class # 15 and a shift at the Red Deer Remand Center. Memorial donations were made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick, IWK Health Centre Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society and the Children's Wish Foundation, including one from the UNBSJ Women's Volleyball Team. Interment took place at Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. We would like to thank all those who assisted with the reception that followed at the Lions center at Grand Bay-Westfield.
