SEELEN Joseph Francis Seelen of Sylvan Lake passed away suddenly on August 10, 2005 at the age of 43. He was born on November 8, 1961 at Wawa, Ontario. He is survived by his brothers Keith and Johnny; sisters: Ellie Doan, Adrianna Christie and Mary Christie; nephews Jason (Marnie) Seelen, Casey Seelen and David (Michelle) Seelen of Sylvan Lake and numerous nephews and nieces in Ontario as well as many friends (too many to mention). He was predeceased by his father Joe in 2001 and his mother Joanne in 2003. His joy was being 'Papa Joe' to Mackayla, Morgan, Kale, Joeli, and Gavin Seelen. Joe had an amazing talent with woodworking and loved to be outdoors fishing and camping. His most recent prized possession was his Yamaha Virago that he was looking forward to riding to the coast with his friends. He will be sadly missed and never forgotten. He will always be remembered for the twinkle in his eye and his open heart and home. A Celebration of life and fellowship in Joe's memory will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #212, Sylvan Lake on Wednesday, August 17, 2005 from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. Cremation entrusted to the Rocky Mountain Crematorium, Rocky Mountain House. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
