RILEY Joyce Eileen (Brown) Joyce Eileen (Brown) passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the Lacombe Continuing Care Center on Sunday, May 18, 2008 at the age of 86. She was born on April 18, 1922 at Amulet Saskatchewan to Harry and Inga Brown. Joyce received her schooling in Saskatchewan and then moved to Lacombe area where she met and married Harvey Riley in 1948. Joyce and Harvey then began a lifetime of farming on the family farm in the Meadowbrook district. Joyce is survived by 4 sons, Wayne (Linda) Nanaimo, BC, Ernie (Nancy) Edmonton, Eldon (Cheryl) Byron (Terena) Red Deer, 2 daughters Marilyn (Peter) Jarvis Red Deer, Barbara (Dennis) Wellar Edmonton, 5 grandchildren, Lisa, Barry, Alissa, Aleigha, Drew, 3 great grandchildren Mariah, Shea and Austin, 1 brother Ralph Brown of Forshee and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Joyce was predeceased by her husband Harvey on April 16, 1989, 2 brothers Orville and Arthur, 4 sisters Remoth Leeder, Ruth Webb, Gladys Campbell and Muriel Kirsch. Funeral services will be held on May 23, 2008 at 2:00pm at Wilson's Funeral Chapel 6120 Hwy 2A Lacombe Ab. Interment to follow in the Lacombe Fairview Cemetery.
