SHORT, Joyce Barbara Joyce Barbara passed away in St. Mary's Health Care Centre, Trochu, AB. on November 25, 2004 at the age of 70 years. Joyce was born May 23, 1934 in Lethbridge, AB. She moved to the Elnora Area in 1950 from New Westminster, B.C. Joyce worked at the Elnora Hotel Cafe, Fortune and Mackenzie Store and then the Treasury Branch. She was married to Richard (Bud) Short on February 6, 1953. Joyce was involved extensively in numerous community organizations. Predeceased by her parents, Joyce is survived by her husband Richard (Bud) Short of Elnora; children Sandy Craig (Doug Warren) of Rumsey, Bill Short (Wendy) of Red Deer, Wendy Currier (Roch) of Mirror, Pat Watson (Randy) of Elnora, Kevin Short (Melinda) of Stettler and Kerry Short (Marj) of Stettler; 14 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; brothers Ronald, Lavern and Darryl and one sister Leatrice. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, November 30, 2004 in the Elnora Community Hall.
