Jozsef LADANYI

LADANYI, Jozsef Jozsef Ladanyi of Red Deer passed away at the Red Deer Regional Hospital on December 31, 2004 at the age of 62 years. Jozsef was born and raised in Yugoslavia where he met and married Maria in 1965. They immigrated to Toronto, Ontario, Canada in 1966 and there they had two daughters. In 1979 the family moved to Red Deer where Joe worked for Quinn Contracting at Joffre for seventeen years until he retired due to illness. Joe loved fishing, camping, cooking and visiting with anyone who would stop to chat. He had a great love for animals and will be sadly missed by his furry companion, "Snoopy". Joe will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Maria, his daughters, Susan Heffernan and her children; Connor, Kyle and John and Clara (Dana) Uhryniw and their children, Eric and Devon all of Red Deer. He is also survived by one brother, Frank Ladanyi of Toronto, Ontario as well as many nephews, nieces, cousins, family and friends in both Canada and Yugoslavia. Maria and family would like to thank the Red Deer Regional Hospital staff, Dr. Kim, Unit 23 and the nurses at Renal Dialysis for their generous care and support. Those wishing to pay their respects to Jozsef Ladanyi may do so at the Red Deer Funeral Home (6150 - 67 Street) on Monday, January 3, 2005 between 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at the Red Deer Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 4, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. Anyone wishing to make a donation in memory of Jozsef Ladanyi may do so to the Kidney Foundation of Canada (#307, 10335 - 172 St NW, Edmonton, Alberta, T5S 9Z9) or the Alberta Foundation of Diabetes Research (12834- 163 Street, Edmonton, Alberta, T5V 1K6) Condolences can be emailed to
