KAMBEITZ, 1946- 2007 Mrs. Karen Kambeitz beloved wife of Norm Kambeitz of Red Deer, passed away with her family by her side after a courageous three year battle with cancer at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre, on Wednesday, June 13, 2007, at the age of 60 years. Karen was born on November 30, 1946. She was very friendly, and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, friends and living life to the fullest. Karen is survived by her husband, Norm Kambeitz, a son, Blair (Carol) Kambeitz, a daughter, Carla (John) Giannioudis both of Red Deer, two sisters, Bernie (Wally) Trieber of Lethbridge, Alberta, Rita (Don) McKaig of Coaldale, Alberta, a brother, Clem (Linda) of Germany, four grandchildren, Jared, Baylee, Hannah and Chase all of Red Deer. She was predeceased by her parents, Clem and Rose and a sister Claire. A Celebration of Karen's Life will be held at the Crossroads Church, 32 Street and Queen Elizabeth Two Highway on Monday, June 18, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations in Karen's honour can be made directly to the Canadian Cancer Society, 4730A Ross Street, Red Deer, Alberta T4N 1X2.
