STEWART Karen Leah Stewart of Red Deer, Alberta passed away suddenly in Red Deer on March 31, 2006 at the age of 49 years. Karen was born and raised in Red Deer. She enjoyed gardening, working with stained glass, canning, sewing, traveling and renovating her home. Whenever spare time allowed, she liked to spoil her baby grandson Deacon Allan. At the time of her passing, Karen was employed with Dentooms Greenhouses of Red Deer enjoying what she loved best, working with plants and flowers. Karen will be lovingly remembered by her husband Allan (Stewy) and her mother Bernice Johnson. She is also survived by two daughters Charity (Greg) and Jamie (Mark); her faithful pet and companion Jade and one grandchild Deacon Allan; one brother Spencer, all of Red Deer, Alberta; two sisters Elaine of Sherwood Park, Alberta and Linda of Kelowna, B.C.. Also to cherish her memory are numerous nieces, nephews and special friends. Karen was predeceased by her father William Johnson, one brother Philip and son Jeremy Stewart. A Funeral Service for Karen Leah Stewart will be held on Thursday, April 6, 2006 at 1 pm from the Chapel of the Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium, 6287-67A Street, Red Deer, Alberta with Brenda Watts, Funeral Celebrant officiating. Memorial donations in memory of Karen may be directed to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, Central Alberta Chapter, 4322-52nd Avenue, Red Deer, AB T4N 4J9.
