Karene Margaret (nee Olsen)
With much love and care from family and friends, Karene Wagner peacefully passed away on February 26, 2014 at the age of 75 years. Surviving her are husband Garth and immediate family: Denise and Bill; Colin and Kami; Kevin; Kent and grandson, Eric. Also sadly missing Karene are her brothers, Grant and Neil, their extended families, and numerous cousins. The family would also like to acknowledge the excellent care, support, and compassion that Mom and Dad have both received from all the medical staff and healthcare services at the Lacombe Community Health Centre and the Hematology Clinic of the Peter Lougheed Centre (Calgary). We encourage everyone to write or express support for the continuation of these facilities and their health services to the Minister of Health and/or Members of the Legislative Assembly. A Memorial service will be held at St. Andrew's United Church, 5226-51 Ave., Lacombe on Friday March 7, 2014 at 1 p.m. Those wishing to make memorial contributions may do so to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada - Prairie Region 2020 10th Street NW Calgary AB T2M 3M2 or to Parkinson's Alberta, 102-5636 Burbank Crescent, Calgary, AB T2H 1Z6.
