It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Karin Maria Hunsche of St. Albert on Dec. 16, 2014 at the age of 80 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her sons: Michael (Rhonda), Kevin (Barbara) and Ian; grandchildren: Michelle, Adam, Karin, Emma and Andreas; as well as her brothers: Herbert and Peter. She will also be dearly missed by her friends in her church and choir. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Joep in 1968. Karin and Joep immigrated to Canada from the Netherlands in 1960, first to Calgary, then relocating to Red Deer. Both were travel agents, and one of Mom's proudest achievements was becoming the first female travel manager of the Alberta Motor Association. A private service will be held at the family's request. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Red Cross Home Loan Program at www.redcross.ca.
