Kay Komarnicki, of Calgary, passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at the age of 101 years at her residence, the Father Lacombe Care Center.
She had been a long-time resident of Sylvan Lake, AB.
Kay is survived by her two daughters, Rosanne and Bonnie; eight grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Nick in 1991 and son Bill in 2011.
Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McInnis & Holloway (Fish Creek, 14441 Bannister Road SE, Calgary, AB) on Tuesday, June 16, 2020 from 7 to 7:30 pm with Prayers and Tributes to follow at 7:30 pm.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick's Catholic Church (1414 Shawnessy Boulevard S.W., Calgary, AB) on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at 11 am with a reception to follow at McInnis & Holloway (Fish Creek, 14441 Bannister Road SE, Calgary, AB). A graveside service will be held on June 17, 2020 at 3 pm at the Lakeview Cemetery (4302 50 Street Sylvan Lake, AB).
