On January 31, 2020 at the age of 85 years Kay passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at Extendicare Michener Hill in Red Deer.
Our loving mother, wife and grandmother is survived by her three children; Larry (Caroline), Rick (Elaine), Lorie (Ron) as well as her cherished grandchildren; Jason (Jackie), Drew, Taryn and Shelby. Kay will also be missed by her sister Margaret Wise. Kay was predeceased by her husband Phil in October 2012.
Kay wished for a private service which will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers a donation may be sent to Calgary Children's Hospital, 2888 Shaganappi Trail N.W. Calgary, Alberta T3B 6A8. The family would also like to sincerely thank all of the staff at Extendicare Michener Hill for their compassion and excellent care offered to Kay.
