MCNEELY Kathleen Valerie December 7, 1949 April 24, 2009 The family of Kathleen V. McNeely sorrowfully announce her sudden passing. Kathleen Valerie McNeely was born to Thelma Kathleen Vivienne (Patten) and Robert William McNeely in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan on December 7, 1949. Robert Sr. who proudly served in World War II, was in the Canadian Armed Forces and so the family moved around a bit. Kathleen was always close to her younger siblings, Bob, Adele and Richard. Kathleen and her family moved to Calgary in 1962 and Kathleen finished her schooling there. She went to SAIT and took her library technician training which led to a job with Mobil Oil where she worked for 22 years. Kathleen had the pleasure of working with one of her best friends at Mobil, Pat Munro (A life-long friend). Kathleen never married but was surrounded by children nevertheless since she was Auntie to Bob and Penny's children Colin, Deanna and Holly, and also Adele and Rick's children Michael, Christian, Renee and Marie. Kathleen had many interests; she loved to garden, she loved to read, she adored horses and cats. Kathleen will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
