PAPINEAU Kathleen Marjorie Papineau nee Brock died at the age of ninety at Red Deer, Alberta on August 2, 2007. Marjorie was born on the Brock farm in the Brooksley district, east of Red Deer. She attended High School in Red Deer and normal school in Edmonton. Her first teaching position was at the Nebraska School ( North of Tees) , where she met her future husband, Albert Papineau. They were married in 1938 and she joined the large Papineau family who welcomed her with love and affection. After living near Tees a few years they moved to Red Deer where Albert joined the staff of Red Deer Motors. Marjorie is survived by her daughter Ruth (Fred Schmidt) and their three children, Bonnie, Barbara and Barry. Son Roger (Shannon) and one sister and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, an infant daughter, an infant grandson and two brothers. At Marjorie's request there will be no funeral. She has donated her body to the University of Calgary to be used for medical research. Excelsior
