April 19, 1944 - January 9, 2022
Kenneth Joseph Fox was received into the loving arms of his Heavenly Father on January 9th, 2022 at the age of 77 years.
Born in Scott, Saskatchewan on April 19th, 1944 to Joe and Thelma Fox, Ken was the second oldest of 12 children. His family moved later to Whitelaw, Alberta; it was here that he began to hone his pitching skills, which would become such a massive part of his future years. Ken excelled in sports and he helped to win championships in many tournaments over the years.
Ken enrolled in Education at the University of Alberta and it was there he met Eileen, who was to become his wife and the love of his life for 54 years. Ken's teaching career spanned 32 years; he so loved seeing his students change and grow as they made their way from his class onward.
Ken will be missed incredibly by his loving wife Eileen, children Harlan (Janice), Mike (Trish), Mitch (Raquel), Jackie (Kevin) and nine grandchildren. Also, by his siblings which he loved dearly as well as many special nieces and nephews.
A most heartfelt thank you to the staff of the Red Deer General Hospital Unit 32 and the Red Deer Hospice staff for their exceptional care and selfless work. If desired, memorial tributes in Ken's name may be made directly to Red Deer Hospice Society.
A celebration of Ken's life will be held at St. Mary's Church at 1 pm on Tuesday, January 18th, 2022. Funeral Livestream available on:
