Ken Zak was one of seven children born to the late Cecilia and Thomas Zak. He passed away peacefully but unexpectedly in his sleep. Ken was a charismatic and candid man who loved to laugh. He was a voracious reader of non-fiction, and was well versed on a wide variety of topics.
He sincerely enjoyed speaking with people and learning about how they viewed the world. He was always eager to offer a hand or a piece of advice to anyone who asked. His life was spent working the family farm and providing for his loved ones. When asked if he would ever retire, he would often joke "Yes, I'll quit farming about two days before I die."
He will be sadly missed by his wife, three children, daughter-in-law and three grandchildren; as well as numerous other family members and many close friends.
As per Ken's wishes no funeral will be held, but the family would like to welcome those who knew him to come together for an informal gathering at the Delburne Community Hall on Wednesday, October 25th from 2pm to 4pm.
