It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kevin Zarubiak on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at the age of 46 years.
Kevin is survived by his wife Karene, daughter Jayda, and son Tristyn; his brother John (Marion Kiss), sisters Myrna Zarubiak and Adeline Michayluk (Todd), niece Nevia Michayluk and nephew Ethan Michayluk; his mother-in-law Charlene Ehrhardt, Father-in-law Don Ehrhardt (Wendy), brother-in-law Kirk Ehrhardt; also left to cherish Kevin's memory are many special aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, as well as our furry family members, Buddy, Scooter, Zeus, Willow, Maggie and Newman.
Kevin was pre-deceased by his Father, Eugene Zarubiak in 1992, and his mother, Loretta Zarubiak in 2016.
Kevin was born and raised in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. He met the love of his life, Karene in 1996 in Calgary, AB. They began their family with Tristyn in 1998, and completed their family with their daughter, Jayda who was born in 2001.
Kevin began his career in the oilfield with Foremost Energy Services as a production tester, and eventually started Zubar Production Testing Ltd. with his partner Jim Barr.
Kevin loved to fish, hunt, and watch his beloved Saskatchewan Rough Riders!
Please join us for a Celebration of Life for Kevin, on Friday, June 1 beginning at 2:00pm at the CrossRoads Church. 38105 Range Road 275, Red Deer, AB. The family requests that you come dressed casually, jerseys in honor of Kevin. Please join us for a gathering following the Celebration.
