KILLAM Mr. Reginald John Killam of Innisfail, passed away at the Rosefield Centre on Saturday, April 12, 2008 at the age of 78 years. Reginald was born on May 4, 1929 in Nanaimo, BC and was raised in Burnaby, BC. Reginald married the love of his life, Dorothy Hahn on January 17, 1953. Reginald was employed for 25 years with Alberta Treasury Branches. He lived in many cities but most notable were Vegreville, Medicine Hat and Red Deer. Reginald was active in the community spending many hours volunteering with the Lions Club, Kinsmen Club and bowling for CNIB. Some of his favorite hobbies included bowling, playing bridge and darts. Reginald will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 55 years, Dorothy Killam, 3 sons: Dean (Alice) Killam, Bruce Killam, George Killam, and 2 daughters: Joan (Harvey) Hymmen, and Wendy (Phil) Cruickshank. Reginald's memory will also be cherished by his 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Reginald was predeceased by his parents, Gilbert and Margaret Killam and brother, Stanley Killam. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, April 17, 2008 at St. Luke's Anglican Church, 4929-54 Street, Red Deer, AB at 1:00 p.m. with The Reverend John McKay officiating.
