KONESKY 1922 - 2009 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loving husband, dad, grandfather, and great grandfather, William "Bill" Konesky after a lengthy illness. He made his way into the loving arms of our Lord and Savior on the morning of Sunday, October 4th, 2009 with his family by his side. Bill emigrated from Poland to Red Deer in 1948, where he chose to settle and raise his family. He leaves behind to mourn his loss Anne Konesky of Red Deer his beloved wife of 64 years, his children, Michael (Linda) Konesky of Halifax, Nova Scotia, Shirley Taylor ( Tony) of Nanaimo, British Columbia, Teri (Don) MacDermott of Calgary, Alberta, and Brenda (Mike) Reaman of Red Deer, Alberta, as well as seven beautiful grandchildren, Andrew, Andrea, Kimberley (Adam), Shawn (Monika), Bryce, Michael, Stephen, and two special great grandsons, Lucas, and Marcus. A prayer service for Bill will be held on Thursday, October 8th, 2009 at Eventide Funeral Chapel, 4820 - 45th Street, Red Deer, Alberta at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 9th, 2009 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 6 McMillan Avenue, Red Deer, Alberta, at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Alto - Reste Cemetery, Red Deer, Alberta.
