KORNELOVICH Mr. William Joseph ‘Bill’ Kornelovich, beloved husband of Mrs. Patricia Kornelovich of Red Deer, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family, at Bethany CollegeSide, Red Deer on Friday, December 9, 2005 at the age of 89 years. Bill was born on October 28, 1916 at Poland and came to Canada in 1920 with his parents. He was farming in the Big Valley Area of Alberta when he met Patricia Hay. They married in 1949 and moved to Red Deer in 1963. Bill continued to farm near Pine Lake until he retired. Bill and Pat spent many enjoyable winters in Arizona. Bill will be remembered for his beautiful flower gardens and his love of animals. Music filled his life and dancing was one of his greatest pleasures. Bill will be very sadly missed but lovingly remembered and forever cherished in the hearts of his family and dear friends. Bill leaves to mourn his loss, his loving wife of fifty-six years, Pat, son, Richard (Val), daughter, Kathy (Darrell) Sonnenberg, sister-in-law, Georgina Norman, all of Red Deer, brother-in-law, John Garbencius and God-daughter, Mary Ann Garbencius, both of Edmonton, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends. Bill was predeceased by his parents, four brothers and three sisters. Prayers will be held at Eventide Funeral Chapel, 4820 – 45th Street, Red Deer, Alberta on Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m. A Public Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 5508 – 48A Avenue, Red Deer, Alberta on Thursday, December 15, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the Red Deer Cemetery, Red Deer, Alberta.
